Discover the Deep Healing and Relaxation of Sound Vibrations

Sound healing Tibetan bowls and peace lily

Experience transformative sound healing that nurtures your well-being on every level

Are you suffering from stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm?

Are menopause or chronic illness symptoms limiting your ability to enjoy life?

Do you want to give your mind and body the deep care they deserve?

Let the transformative power of sound restore your inner harmony and awaken a profound sense of peace that touches every cell in your body—far deeper than surface-level relaxation.

Choose your personal sound healing experience

You have a choice of one-to-one or group sound healing experiences, both of which offer deep relaxation and unique benefits.

The main difference is that one-to-one sessions are tailored to your personal needs, preferences, and desired outcomes, creating a bespoke healing journey crafted just for you. My one-to-one sonic massages (where I place the bowls on your clothed body) offer much deeper relaxation and healing than you’ll experience in a group sound bath.

With group sound baths, you’ll share the same beautiful healing sounds with others, creating a wonderful sense of connection and collective resonance and restoration as you relax together.

I deliver most of my one-to-one sessions and sound baths in the comfort of my home, in Gullane, East Lothian. Online sound baths and one-to-one sessions are also available.

What makes sound healing so powerful?

Sound healing is an ancient therapeutic practice that harnesses carefully crafted sound frequencies to promote deep healing across every dimension of your being—physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.

What many traditional cultures have known for millennia, modern science is now validating: sound vibrations possess extraordinary healing power. Today, cutting-edge clinical research has advanced so far that sound waves are offered as a treatment for cancer in some countries.

Using beautiful instruments like hand-crafted Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, gongs, wind chimes and other instruments, I create vibrations that resonate with your body’s cells, guiding your mind into a deeply relaxed state where your natural healing processes can flourish.

For over five years, sound healing has been an essential part of my daily self-care practice—helping me truly switch off from life’s challenges and, more recently, supporting my recovery from chronic fatigue. I’m thrilled to have since qualified as a sound healing practitioner and vocal sound healer. It’s a privilege to be offering this beautiful vibrational healing practice to people who want to feel better or optimise their health.

How does sound healing boost your well-being?

Everyone responds differently to sound healing. Here are some ways you could benefit:

Feel your stress, anxiety, and tension melt away as healing vibrations wash over you

Enjoy deep, restorative rest and improve the quality of your sleep

Enhance your mental clarity and focus, and rediscover your sharp, creative mind

Restore harmony to your body’s natural rhythms and balance your natural energy flow

Release stored emotions and what no longer serves you—in a safe, nurturing space

Awaken your intuition and creativity, and reconnect with your inner wisdom

Regulate your nervous system so you find it easier to feel calmer, even in life’s storms.

While sound healing isn’t a cure for any specific conditions, symptoms, or illnesses, it’s a beautiful complementary tool that works alongside conventional medical care to support your overall well-being.

My clients’ experiences constantly amaze me—most tell me they feel deeply calm and relaxed, some notice a reduction in pain, stiffness, and headaches, while others have found their blocked sinuses clearing, or they sleep better after sessions.

Sound healing is also an excellent self-care practice that can help prevent future illness by supporting your body’s natural ability to maintain balance and optimal health.

The magic happens when intention meets vibration – transforming simple relaxation into a profound journey of restoration and renewal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is sound healing right for me?

Sound healing is a gentle, safe practice for most people. However, it’s important to know that sound healing is not suitable if you:

  • Are or could be pregnant – water amplifies the sound waves and could induce early labour.
  • Have a pacemaker or other electronic medical device fitted – vibrations might interfere with the device.
  • Have a heart condition or brain injury.
  • Have epilepsy or are prone to seizures – sound can trigger seizures.

Please consult with me and your healthcare professional before booking if you:

  • Are highly sensitive to sound or have conditions such as tinnitus or hyperacusis – certain frequencies might worsen symptoms.
  • Experience acute or chronic ear issues or vertigo.
  • Experience severe, chronic, or acute mental or emotional health challenges, e.g. unresolved trauma, ongoing depression, or PTSD, as sound healing may evoke strong emotional reactions. That’s not always a bad however, you may need further follow-up therapeutic support.
  • Are under 16.
I use a comprehensive pre-booking questionnaire to ensure your safety and tailor your experience perfectly to your needs.

What can sound healing cure?

Sound healing is not a cure for any specific conditions, symptoms, or illnesses. Rather, it’s a beautiful tool that works alongside—never instead of—proper medical care from qualified healthcare professionals. It promotes deep relaxation, reduces stress, and helps to restore balance and harmony within your body.

Are there any adverse side effects I could experience with sound healing?

Most people leave feeling deeply relaxed and renewed, often reporting that physical, mental, and emotional symptoms they arrived with have significantly eased or disappeared entirely. However, occasionally, the deep sound vibrations can gently release stored emotions or unresolved experiences from the body, which may temporarily manifest as new sensations or feelings.

This is actually a positive sign that your body is processing and releasing what no longer serves you. If this happens, these temporary responses typically settle naturally within a few days. As an experienced practitioner, I may be able to support you (for simple emotional issues), or I’ll recommend additional therapeutic support as needed.

What do I wear for a sound healing session?

You are fully clothed throughout. Loose, comfortable clothing is advised.

How should I prepare?

Avoid drinking caffeine or alcohol, or eating for an hour before the session.

Do I need to have bowls placed on my body?

No, we’ll discuss your desired outcomes and all your preferences at the start of the session.
