Having Social Impact Through My Business
“Supporting charities through your business can be a great way to GROW your business and make a difference in the world–in ways that matter to you and solve local or global challenges!”
Supporting charities and social causes is something that’s really important to me and something I encourage others to do. I’ve found that when you connect and reach out to others, with unconditional love, kindness and compassion in your heart, you’re not only helping them, you grow as a person and so does your business – when you link your charitable giving and business goals. I explain how to do this in my best-selling book Give to Profit: How to Grow Your Business by Supporting Charities & Social Causes that was released in March 2017.
Personally, I regularly do humanitarian work with genocide survivors in Rwanda, volunteer locally and have raised over US$25,000 for causes through my business. Below are further examples ways I support social causes through my business.
What could you do support a charity or social cause?

Ways I support social causes through my business
As I discuss in my Give-to-Profit book, there is a difference between contribution (what we do or give) and the impact we have. While it can be difficult to determine full scale of impact we have, and I’m at the early stages of measuring my impact, we have had a Hollywood produced, and international award winning film, made about the work we do in Rwanda – When I Was Young I Said I Would be Happy.
