E021 Engage Conference Audiences with Fun Fundraising Activities

In 2016 I was invited to help the Mind Heart Connect Conference raise funds for charity. Through working closely with one of the co-founders, Kate Helder, we implemented engaging fundraising activities that raised over AUD$20,000 and lead to a deeper level of connection and meaning between attendees, sponsors and speakers. Tune into hear Kate and I discuss what we did and the incredible impacts and momentum this fundraising has given to Mind Heart Connect.

During our conversation we discuss:
– The surprising journey Kate and Mind Heart Connect went through
– The process we followed – from strategising to delivery at the conference
– Kate’s shift in perspective – from concerns about fundraising at events to becoming an advocate
– How incorporating engaging fundraising activities can create deeper connections with attendees
– The momentum and impact generating these funds has had for the business and projects they support.
