E018 Classroom of Hope: Charitable Partnering for Greater Impact

Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world yet 263 million children don’t have access to quality education. During this truly inspiring conversation, I interview the founder of Classroom of Hope, Duncan Ward, and his wife Nicola Courtin about how they’ve built schools and run educational projects in Cambodia, Bali, and Rwanda.

We discuss:
– How adopting a business approach to running their charity has helped them be more effective.
– The role of storytelling in impact reporting and connecting with your supporters.
– The part small businesses can play in raising funds for charities and social causes.
– A unique ‘Wise Owl’ business model for generating funds to support their operational costs.
– How to find the best organisations to partner with in different countries for greater impact.
– Various ways to measure your impact
